The Community Plan for Eastern Harrison County was prepared for The Harrison County Board of Supervisors and the citizens of Eastern Harrison County by the Ohio State University, Knowlton School of Architecture with Jennifer Cowley, PhD, AICP, Project Manager, John Dahlgren, AICP, Team Leader, Erica Wicks, Joshua Anderson, Bridget Troy, Ma'ayan Citron, Ian Beniston, Nathan Leppo, and Rickie Yeager. The plan was designed to guide the growth of Western Harrison County over a period of twenty years. It incoprorates the principles of New Urbanism in an effort to create a plant hat reflects the community's desire for a sustainable feature. Issues identified as priorities by the community are the foundation of this plan. These priorities are organized as three themes, connectivity, preservation and place making.
