James Doyle '80

James Doyle, MCRP '80, recently led a multidisciplinary team of planners, architects, and engineers to completion of an Alternatives Analysis/Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Urban Ring project, which will provide a new circumferential transit service connecting the many "spokes" of radial transit and commuter rail just outside the congested core of Boston. Since joining Earth Tech in Concord,MA, Jay has led a variety of planning assignments including commuter rail, high speed rail, freight rail, water/wastewater, and airports. Jay is currently Earth Tech's technical practice group leader for transit/rail. While at Ohio State, Jay was a planning intern at the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, and later worked for the ODOT Division of Rail.
