Dan Burden

On November 10th, Dan Burden from Walkable Communities Inc. will make a presentation as part of the Knowlton School of Architecture Lecture Series.

Dan Burden, a nationally recognized authority on bicycle and pedestrian facilities and programs, will make this presentation on designing walkable communities on Monday, November 10 at 6 PM in Room 223 of Brown Hall.

Burden has 25 years of experience in developing, promoting, and evaluating sustainable community design, alternative transportation facilities, and traffic calming practices. He served for 16 years as the State Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator for the Florida Department of Transportation and is now executive director of Walkable Communitites, Inc., a non-profit corporation helping North America develop walkable communities.
