- All undergraduate backgrounds are welcome – we will have panels of current and past students to tell you about the program and how it trains people from different backgrounds, such as business, management, marketing, finance, and real estate to work professionally in a range of related fields (e.g., city management, community development, real estate development, affordable housing, urban design, environmental justice, transportation planning, land use, conflict mediation and others).
- We will discuss financial aid opportunities – the majority of our students this year are receiving tuition and fee waivers and stipends for work with community agencies, non-profit organizations and for-profit companies.
- We will explain dual degrees – earn two masters' degrees simultaneously. You choose what degree to combine with your city and regional planning degree. Recent examples include Geography, Public Policy and Management, Landscape Architecture and Sociology.
- There will be a presentation on our international exchange program (with the Technical University of Dresden, Germany).
- We will have refreshments! Check it out it would help us plan the program if you register by sending e-mail to Jennifer Evans-Cowley at cowley.11@osu.edu or by calling her at 247-7479.
