Smiljan Radic Clarke, born in Santiago de Chile in 1965, graduated from the Universidad Católica de Chile. He subsequently studied at the Instituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia, Italy, and worked in Iraklio, Greece, in association with the architects Nikolas Skutelis and Flavio Zanon. In 2001 he received an award from the Chilean Architects Association as best national architect under the age of 35. He is currently working freelance in association with the sculptor Marcela Correa in Santiago de Chile.
