By recreating the circulation of nutrients through plants, a new understanding of flows and pressures could be related to traffic patterns and densities. In developing a rest stop the material processes of the plant were used to accommodate highway traffic and rest stop facilities. Through emphasizing the organic flows both structure and program were developed to keep a deep surface relation to the site.
