Student Project: Kemal M. Cubukcu
Under the guidance of Dr. Viton, K. Mert Cubukcu, Ph.D. candidate, investigated 1) factors affecting shopping trip generation rates in metropolitan areas, and 2) the impacts of the demand for technology related products and on-line shopping on such trips. Using a linear model, he considered characteristics of the metropolitan areas, socio-economic characteristics of the trip makers, and technology related trip maker characteristics.
