Student Project: Anne L Hersch, Michael Iswalt, Takeshi Miyata, Ying Li, and Tim Burgener

A Development Suitability Study for Liberty Township, Delaware County, undertook by CRP 608 students. As a role of a planner, an environmentalist/preservationist, or a developer?s perspective, students analyzed several themes and created models to generate a township Development Suitability Plan. The final report includes recommendations and appropriate implementation strategies to the decision makers (Township Trustees). Recommendations include allowing for alternative developments (i.e. cluster housing) where there is a conflict between CRA and future pattern of development and /or with current zoning or the Comprehensive Plan. To see the report by Takeshi Miyata, Ying Li, and Tim Burgener, go here. To see the report by Anne L Hersch, Michael Iswalt, go here.
