Moneo?s Anxiety: Rafael Moneo's Theoretical Anxiety and Design Strategies in the Work of Eight Contemporary Architects
Rich with thoughtful deliberation on eight practices that have shaped late-Modern and contemporary speculative architecture, Rafael Moneo?s Theoretical Anxieties and Design Strategies in the Work of Eight Contemporary Architects provides a valuable anthology in the sheer number and significance of the works it documents. But of course, the book?s merit as a primer is not what is at stake when one such as Rafael Moneo addresses the likes of Koolhaas, Eisenman, Herzog & de Meuron, Venturi and Scott Brown, Gehry, Siza, Stirling, and Rossi, particularly when that address is christened Theoretical Anxiety.
