Physical Planning and Urban Design
This concentration centers on the relation between the physical features of urban places and the human response to these features, focusing on the study of theories, methods and applications of psychological, social, cultural, and political factors that shape urban form. It prepares students to apply this knowledge to practical issues encountered in professional urban design and physical planning practice, both in the private and public sector.
