Community design leaders and architect Tamarah Begay will hold a forum discussing how using "indigenous design and planning tools to create new public art and commemorative spaces can reflect Columbus' collective history, values, and aspirations."

Tamarah Begay is the founder of Indigenous Design Studio + Architecture, a Navajo women-owned firm located in New Mexico. She is also the lead architect for the Reimagining Columbus project.
