Gulsah Akar is an Assistant Professor at the City and Regional Planning Section at The Ohio State University. Her research interests focus on travel demand analysis and choice modeling. Dr. Akar received her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (2009), with a focus in Transportation. She got her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees both from the Civil Engineering Department, Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey in years 2002 and 2004 respectively. She is originally from Ankara, Turkey.
