2014 ARTA Winner Presentations

Winners of 2014 Architecture Research Travel Awards gave presentations on their ARTA-supported travel at on Tuesday, November 18 at the Knowlton Hall Big Stairs.

The 2014 ARTA winners who presented were:

  • Whitney Izor and Alex Pisha, Landscapes of Production (Germany)
  • Blythe Worstell, Soil Conservation in the Icelandic Desert
  • Yana Grinblat, Tel Aviv: An Architecture of Deviance
  • Caitlin Kilkenny Brett, Rio de Janeiro’s Favelas
  • James Riley Cruttenden, Conservation and the Work of William and Robert Adam (United Kingdom)


Architecture Research Travel Grants are made possible by the generosity of the Columbus Foundation and provide financial support for students who wish to pursue independent international research travel. They are available to Knowlton School students from all degree programs.
