2004 the Ohio State University's City and Regional Planning program
and the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy sponsored a day-long seminar

City and Regional Planning program hosted a lecture by Chris Nelson

Citizen Participation Tools: March 3-5, 2004 the Ohio State
University's City and Regional Planning program with support from
the Battelle Endowment for Technology and Human Affairs hosted this

Creating a Safer Physical Environment through Design: On
October 17, 2003 the Ohio State University's City and Regional Planning
program and the Criminal Justice Research Center sponsored a day-long
seminar on CPTED. Speakers included Ralph B. Taylor PhD, Professor
of Criminal Justice at Temple University, Sergeant Earl Smith, Columbus
Police Department and Dean Brennan, AICP with the City of Phoenix,
Arizona.
Managing Public Meetings: In May, 2003 the Ohio
State University's City and Regional Planning program sponsored
a day-long seminar on meeting management. Course presenters include
Vince Papsidero, AICP Director of Planning and Community Development
for the City of Delaware Ohio, Suzann Gad, AICP Director of the
Office of Urban and Corridor Planning for the Ohio Department of
Transportation, Bojinka Bishop, the Sloan Professor of Public Relations
at Ohio University and Debra Stein President of GCA

Smart Growth Seminar: In November, 2002
the Ohio State University's City and Regional Planning program sponsored
a day-long seminar on smart growth. Presenters included Patti Dalton,
Economic Development Director for the City of Upper Arlington and
co-chair of the Central Ohio First Suburbs Consortium, Stu Meck,
FAICP, Senior Research Fellow at the American Planning Association,
Richard Sensenbrenner, City Council member with the City of Columbus,
and David Beach, Director of EcoCity Cleveland.
