The Role of the BZA and Variances

 

The Role of the BZA and Variances course is available to planning practioners and public officials who are interested in learning about how boards operate and grant variances. This course is available for you to access and complete at anytime that is convenient for you.

This course examines the role of the BZA. The course provides instruction on the legal basis of variances, administrative appeals, and special use. Examples of when to grant variances is included.

This course is presented by Jennifer Evans-Cowley, PhD, AICP Assistant Professor at Ohio State University.

The price for this course is $50.

This course qualifies for two hours of Kentucky Planning Continuing Education Credit, as well as two hours of AICP Continuing Education Credit. This courses may qualify for Tennesee Continuing Education Credit, contact your employer to find out.
