Managing Public Meetings

Managing Public Meetings is now available to planning practioners and public officials who are interested in learning about the fundamentals of effectively managing meetings. This course is available for you to access and complete at anytime that is convenient for you.

This course covers the fundamentals of meeting management. The course provides instruction on how to organize a public meeting, developing a participation process, operating in a politically charged environment, and managing the angry public.

Course presenters include Vince Papsidero, AICP Director of Planning and Community Development for the City of Delaware Ohio, Suzann Gad, AICP Director of the Office of Urban and Corridor Planning for the Ohio Department of Transportation, Bojinka Bishop, the Sloan Professor of Public Relations at Ohio University and Debra Stein President of GCA Stategies.

The price for this course is $95.

This course qualifies for four hours of AIA Continuing Education credit. This course qualifies for four hours of Kentucky Planning Continuing Education Credit, as well as four hours of AICP Certification Maintenance Credit. This courses may qualify for Tennesee Continuing Education Credit, contact your employer to find out.
