Site Planning

 

Site Planning is now available to planning practioners and public officials who are interested in learning about the fundamentals of site planning. This course is available for you to access and complete at anytime that is convenient for you.

This course covers the fundamentals of site design. The course provides instruction of soil types, the supply of utilities to a site, open space, transportation planning, parking, land uses, and the role of the planning and zoning commission in approval of site plans. Examples of how to review site plans is included.

The course instructor is Steve Gordon, PhD, AICP. Gordon is on the City and Regional Planning faculty at The Ohio State University.

The price for this course is $75.

This course qualifies for four hours of Kentucky Planning Continuing Education Credit, as well as four hours of AICP Continuing Education Credit. This courses may qualify for Tennesee Continuing Education Credit, contact your employer to find out. This course also qualifies for four hours of AIA continuing education credit.
