Thomas Daniell will lecture at the Knowlton Hall Big Stairs at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, August 26. Following his lecture, Daniell will hold a book signing of An Anatomy of Influence. Books will be available for purchase from the Wexner Center Bookstore.

Daniell is a professor in the Department of Architecture and Architectural Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering at Kyoto University, Japan. He holds a B.B.Sc and a B.Arch with honors from Victoria University of Wellington, an M.Eng from Kyoto University and a Ph.D from RMIT University.

Widely published, Daniell is a two-time recipient of publication grants from the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts, and author of FOBA: Buildings (Princeton Architectural Press, 2005), After the Crash: Architecture in Post-Bubble Japan (Princeton Architectural Press, 2008), Houses and Gardens of Kyoto (Tuttle, 2010, second edition 2017), Kiyoshi Sey Takeyama + Amorphe (Equal Books, 2011), Kansai 6 (Equal Books, 2011), and An Anatomy of Influence (Architectural Association, 2018).
