Yellow Light, Blue Shadow

Michael Cadwell, Professor of Architecture at the Knowlton School of Architecture, will present a lecture titled "Yellow Light, Blue Shadow" as part of the KSA Lecture Series.

The lecture will take place on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 5:30 PM in the Knowlton Hall Auditorium.

Michael Cadwell received his Bachelor of Arts from Williams College and his Master of Architecture from Yale University. Upon graduation, Cadwell worked for Cesar Pelli & Associates. Cadwell was a visiting professor at Williams College, the New Jersey Institute of Technology, the Rhode Island School of Design, and Parsons School of Design before teaching at the Knowlton School of Architecture. Cadwell has been awarded fellowships at the Woodstock Arts Colony, the McDowell Arts Colony, and the American Academy in Rome. Cadwell’s research is focused on construction as a transformative cultural act, a topic explored in his series of essays, Strange Details, recently published by The MIT Press.
