SERVitecture Hosts 7th Annual Fashion Schau: (DE)CONSTRUCT

Center Space / Knowlton Hall
February 16, 2018 - 6:30pm

SERVitecture hosts the 7th Annual Fashion Schau on Friday, February 16 in the Knowlton Hall Center Space. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for appetizers and mingling, with the Schau to follow at 7:30 p.m.

The Knowlton School Fashion Schau has gotten bigger each year, filled with food, music and creative design. Student designers create wearable designs by recycling and repurposing materials and objects. Deconstructing or constructing materials and taking into account the construction of the dress is especially important this year, as the theme is "(DE)CONSTRUCT". This theme has also been implemented into the runway set design. The designers each choose their own model to showcase their creation on the runway. Knowlton faculty members judge the designs based on best use of recycled materials, creativity, and more. Check out the SERVitecture Facebook page and servitecture.weebly.com to see photos of some of the amazing designs from previous years!

All proceeds from this event go to Dress for Success Columbus, a national non-profit organization that helps empower women in their communities to become more self-sufficient through access to professional attire and career development tools. Last year the Schau raised over $2,000 for this charity!

Tickets are $5 and go on sale starting in February. They can be purchased from a SERVitecture officer or at the door the night of the Schau. Tickets will be $7 at the door, so make sure to get presale tickets!

This event is open to everyone, so bring your friends or family and support a fantastic organization, right here in Columbus. Enjoy a fun evening of food, music, and fashion!
