SERVitecture Hosts 8th Annual Fashion Schau: SCULPTURE

Center Space / Knowlton Hall
February 15, 2019 - 6:30pm

SERVitecture is hosting its 8th Annual Fashion Schau on Friday, February 15th in the Center Space of Knowlton Hall. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for appetizers and mingling, with the Schau to follow shortly after at around 7:30 p.m.

At this annual event hosted by student organization SERVitecture, student designers create wearable designs by recycling and repurposing unconventional or sustainable materials and objects. These designs are then displayed on a constructed runway in a fashion show format. In the end, judges pick the best outfits based on material, theme, and creativity. The event is bustling with food, music, and creative design.

Each year a theme is applied to the Schau, with this year focusing on the idea of SCULPTURE. This theme encourages use of unique crafting techniques and three-dimensional exploration of materials. “SCULPTURE” has also been implemented into the runway set design, which will showcase sculptures designed by other students, friends, family members, and artists.

Pre-tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance from a SERVitecture officer or at the Knowlton Hall Student Services desk. Tickets will be $7 at the door. All proceeds from the event go to Dress for Success Columbus.

More information can be found on the Fashion Schau Facebook event page.
