Andrew will present some of the innovative strategies he has pioneered to help his new organization, Cleveland Neighborhood Progress, better understand some of the equity challenges around open space design in Cleveland.

Andrew Sargeant, ASLA, is a landscape designer and innovative new member of Cleveland Neighborhood Progress. Andrew’s design sensibilities, combined with his technical abilities, allow him to work on some of the most complex projects. His technical proficiency using various software has been instrumental in the coordination between multiple consultants and his internal design teams. Andrew is the recent recipient of the Enterprise Foundation’s Rose Architectural Fellowship. His work will focus on how human-centered urban design and landscape architecture strategies can be to empower communities to achieve equity and resilience.
