KSA Associate Professor of Architecture Lisa Tilder has been elected Secretary of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA).

KSA Final Reviews for Winter quarter 2012 will be held Wednesday, Februrary 29 - Friday, March 9 in the Jury and Center Spaces of Knowlton Hall. Final Friday, an event celebrating student accomplishment during the quarter, will follow final reviews with an awards reception hosted by KSA Director Mike Cadwell.

For the past few years, the City of Columbus has been gearing up for its Bicentennial commemoration and celebration. The initiative, called 200Columbus, is being managed by ACP, a local planning firm with strong Ohio State and KSA ties. KSA students have made important contributions to the Bicentennial program in several ways, securing a substantial place in Columbus' history.

The Knowlton School of Architecture is pleased to announce the seven winners of the 2012 KSA Architecture Research Travel Awards (ARTA) competition. The ARTA program was established to encourage independent travel initiatives of up to 30 days by KSA students from all degree programs. The ARTA program is made possible by generous support from the Columbus Foundation.

Graham Welling, a senior in the OSU Honors Program double majoring in City and Regional Planning and Russian, received the Student Recognition Award at the Friday, February 10 meeting of the University's Board of Trustees.

The capacity to express complex, often highly detailed information in comprehensive, visual form is a skill developed by Knowlton School of Architecture students in all three of our academic sections. Architecture graduate student Alex Ruiz used those skills to produce a CNC mill-fabricated installation representing a population map of Ohio.
