Kay Bea Jones to be Keynote Speaker at Rome Ecological Design Symposium


Knowlton School Associate Professor of Architecture Kay Bea Jones will be a keynote speaker at the R.E.D.S. Rome Ecological Design Symposium. The Symposium, to be hosted on September 26-27 at the Faculty of Architecture, Valle Giulia, the University of Rome, will focus on “the issues of ecology, sustainability, quality of urban transformations and landscape values.” 

R.E.D.S. is organized into four open sessions, with Jones presenting during the third, Open Sources, which will address new approaches in design related to sustainable development (recycling, densification, abandonment, zero waste, reduction of building volume).
