Camp Architecture Offers Summer High School Design Studio

The Center for Architecture and Design's Camp Architecture, in collaboration with AIA Columbus and the Knowlton School, will offer a High School Design Studio during the weeks of June 16 - 27, 2014. The two-week day camp will provide students with an introductory, hands-on design studio experience at the Knowlton School at The Ohio State University. Led by professionals, students will be introduced to architecture, landscape architecture and city and regional planning as well as model-making, design drawing, creative thinking and placemaking. At the end of the program, participants will have completed work that may be used as a component of college program portfolio requirements.

The program is open to students entering grades 9 through 12. The cost to participate is $500.
