Architecture Studies Program Students Blogging from Italy

As part of their pre-departure preparations, students taking part in the spring semester Architecture Studies Program in Italy have developed blogs to record their experiences abroad. The blogs will include drawings, site visits, scholarly work and everyday activities. Follow along with Ohio State students’ experiences in Italy by visiting interior design student Jasmine Berry's blog, Italian Metamorphosis and linking to more than ten other student blogs via the "connect" tab in the upper right corner of the page.

The Knowlton School Architecture Studies Program in Italy began in 1986. This program offers students the opportunity to earn academic credit while living in Italy and visiting some of the most important monuments, gardens and urban spaces in the world. The program provides an intense mix of studio design projects along with scholarship in history and contemporary theory. All coursework abroad is supported by direct experience and analysis of major works of art, architecture and landscape architecture and includes interaction with and evaluation by Italian architects, student, and faculty.
