DesignIntelligence has named Landscape Architecture Section Head and in-coming Knowlton School Director Dorothée Imbert one of the 25 Most Admired Educators in Landscape Architecture for 2020. Each year, DesignIntelligence honors excellence in architecture, interior design and landscape architecture by naming outstanding professionals from these fields, based on input from thousands of design professionals, academic department heads and students.

Imbert is the inaugural Hubert C. Schmidt ’38 Chair at the Knowlton School. Prior to joining Ohio State, Imbert established the Master of Landscape Architecture program at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis, taught at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, and practiced at Peter Walker and Partners.

In DesignIntelligence’s Top 25 Most Admired Schools for accredited landscape architecture programs in 2019, Ohio State ranked 5th among undergraduate programs and 11th among graduate programs nationally.
