Research conducted by Planning Professor Gulsah Akar and doctoral student Gilsu Pae finds that people who walk with a purpose report being healthier.

A study published in the Journal of Transport and Health by Associate Professor of City and Regional Planning Gulsah Akar and Gilsu Pae, a planning doctoral student in the Knowlton School, found that people walk faster and report being healthier when they walk with a purpose.
