Moody Nolan, founded by Curtis J. Moody, FAIA, NOMA, NCARB, LEED AP (BSArch ’73), is the 2021 recipient of the AIA’s Architecture Firm Award, which each year recognizes one firm that has produced notable architecture for at least a decade.

The nation’s largest African American-owned and operated design firm, Moody Nolan has placed diversity at the core of its philosophy since its founding. The AIA announcement illuminates the great depth and breadth of the firm’s work which consistently addresses the future of architecture while honoring its tradition.
