Landscape Architecture Faculty Win OCASLA Awards

Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture Halina Steiner and Associate Professor of Practice Jason Kentner received awards from the Ohio Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

Halina Steiner received the Honor Award for Curbing Sediment, her project to design curbs to capture the “first flush toxins” that collect on the road.

Jason Kentner’s firm Implement received the Award of Excellence for the firm’s Ravenna Downtown District Plan and a Merit Award for their Village Garden project.

Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture Paula Meierjink served on the jury.
