Keith Myers (BSLA ’78), Vice President of Planning, Architecture and Real Estate at Ohio State, and Knowlton School lecturer was interviewed by Columbus Business First on the occasion of his retirement from Ohio StateMyers discussed his past work, his future work with Rapid 5, and the similarities between laying out a city and designing a theme park.

You have to take care of 50,000 people a day. You have retail. You've got to entertain them. You've got to create great places for them to just decompress and hang out. And you get to do all that master planning and design. It's just urban design with a highly creative twist," Myers told Columbus Business First, looking back on his first job designing theme parks. "It was really creating the environment in cities. What I've tried to do ever since is the same thing.
