Spring 2023 Baumer Lecture Series

Spring 2023 Baumer Lecture Series

The Knowlton School is pleased to announce the Spring 2023 Baumer Lecture Series. For spring 2023, the series returns to Knowlton Hall’s Gui Auditorium for nine in-person lectures on the theme of  “Engaging the Commons.”

Engaging the Commons

The Knowlton School invites practitioners and scholars to think about how the design professions’ particpate in (and with) the dense social and political webs of the built environment, and how active practices might engage these places—our “commons.”

Speakers

All lectures are free and open to the public. All lectures are Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. ET.

The Baumer Series invites prominent researchers and practitioners of architecture, landscape architecture, and city and regional planning to present their work and to engage subjects both topical and enduring.
