David Schoeff is a lecturer in the Knowlton School’s Architecture Section where he has taught graduate-level structures since 2011. He is a practicing structural engineer, registered in the state of Ohio since 2003.  Schoeff graduated from The Ohio State University in 1998 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He worked for SMBH (formerly Lantz, Jones & Nebraska) from 1998 to 2007 and for Schaefer from 2007 to present. Schoeff has designed numerous buildings in the Columbus area, as well as significant building projects in Florida, West Virginia, and other cities in Ohio. Notable buildings that he has designed on the OSU campus include Knowlton Hall, Jennings Hall, Thompson Library, and the Veterinary Hospital Simulation Lab addition.  Other significant projects in the Columbus area include Bridge Park in Dublin, the View on High near OSU, and the Grange Insurance headquarters expansion in the Brewery District.
