Zekun Li is a third-year Ph.D. student in City and Regional Planning program at the Knowlton School of Architecture. She has a wide range of research interests, including active transportation, resilient planning, public infrastructure, and social inequality. Although these studies cover different topics, the ultimate goal of her studies is to create sustainable, resilient environments through different approaches and from different perspectives.

 

Before coming to Knowlton, she obtained her master's degree and bachelor's degree in Geographical Information Science from Wuhan University. Based on her academic background, she has been actively trying to integrate spatial analytics, machine learning, and other emerging methods to deal with geo-big data and solve urban problems.
