Aram Yang is a Ph.D. candidate in the City and Regional Planning Section at the Knowlton School of Architecture. Before coming to Knowlton, she obtained her master's degree in City and Regional Planning from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and her bachelor's degree in Local Autonomy Administration from Chungnam National University, South Korea. Her doctoral research centers on examining the variations in affordable housing policy outcomes across neighborhoods in the United States, with a particular emphasis on understanding how these outcomes are influenced by the privatization of affordable housing production.
