Term: Spring 2016

This was a speculative studio focused on using architecture to create landscape effects on a vast scale. Each student created his or her own city in which humans and animals live amongst each other. My city was designed from a series of extrusions, platforms, spheres, and pyramids to create light and lacy layers. On a more detailed level, the landscape is discovered to made up of large folding fields sprinkled with strange cloud towers, lands of dramatic hills with agile bridges spanning across, and pyramid checkered ground cratered with spheres leading to underground worlds.
