Overviews and Tours

Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Planning Overviews and Tours are offered nearly weekly throughout the year with the exception of school breaks. These two-hour sessions provide details on the Knowlton School’s academic programs and co-curricular opportunities, and a student-led tour gives insight into the life of a Knowlton student. Be sure to add an Admissions Overview and Tour to learn more about university admissions criteria and to tour Ohio State’s campus. This sessions is designed to address information for current high school students who have not yet applied to the university.

Register for an Overview and Tour session listed above at Select Admissions Overview & Tour under the Prospective freshmen heading on the bottom left. Indicate group size and select an academic interest of architecture, landscape architecture or city and regional planning to see a list of available dates. From here, add desired sessions to your agenda. Please note that the Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Planning Overview and Tour itself does NOT include a campus tour; a campus tour is only included with the Admissions Overview and Tour session. If you wish to participate in both, please add both sessions to your agenda. In most cases, Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Planning session is offered at a time that will allow you to schedule both (with advance registration).

Admitted Student Visits

Offered on select dates in Febrary, March and April, this visit opportunity is just for admitted students who are interested in one of more of the Knowlton School's majors. This session will provide information specific to your major of interest and allow you to interact with faculty and the professional staff who will support you both inside and outside of the classroom during your Knowlton career. Meet current Knowlton students, tour our inspiring building and learn about our awesome community. Register for a Knowlton School Admitted Student Visit at This session does not include a campus tour but you may choose to pair this with a university Admitted Student Visit session.

In addition to Knowlton-based admitted student visit programs, the university offers a number of larger campus-wide visit experieinces for admitted stuents in February, March and early April. Watch your mailbox for a special invitation to these events, known as Buckeye Bound and goBuckeye Day! All university wide events include time to connect with your academic unit. If you attend Buckeye Bound or goBuckeye, you will visit Knowlton and do not need to schedule a spearate visit.
