Students, faculty, and staff are invited to join a Zoom presentation from ANY at 2 p.m. on September 15. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session moderated by LeFevre Fellow Samiha Meem.

Led by partners Michael Abel and Nile Greenberg, ANY is a New York-based practice in urbanism, architecture, scenography, and design that synthesizes structure, materials, culture, organizations, and media. Select ANY projects include OBG Headquarters in New York, Manor Rock Farm in New York, a 20,000 SF mixed-use housing complex in West Canada, Production Design for a feature film, and multiple retail stores.

Completed projects include the Homer Store (2021), Cafe Forgot NYC (2021), Cafe Forgot Nordstrom (2022), and Frank Ocean’s Headlining Coachella stage in Indio California (2023). ANY was awarded as New Practices New York by the AIANY and has presented work at Spazio Maiocchi and in Pin-Up and Kaleidoscope magazine.

Michael Abel is a founding partner of ANY and the Chief Design Officer at Homer in New York City. At Homer, he helped start the company with artist Frank Ocean, leading the design of all collections, advertisements, branding, physical locations, merchandising, packaging, and collaborations with Prada. Working at MOS Architects for 5 years, he led the design and construction of projects focusing on residential, housing, exhibitions, publications, and cultural institutions. He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto and is a Graham Foundation recipient which funded a publication he co-edited with Mina Hanna titled Copies in an Age of Network Culture.

Nile Greenberg is a founding partner of ANY and has taught as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University GSAPP. Nile curated the exhibition Two Sides of the Border. The forthcoming book, The Advanced School of Collective Feeling, will be published by Park Books, co-authored with Matthew Kennedy. Nile Greenberg holds a Masters of Architecture from Columbia University and worked at MOS Architects, SO – IL, and Leong Leong in New York and Los Angeles.
