Outside of being a Knowlton Ambassador, how are you involved on campus?

I am the Vice President of the Running Club at Ohio State, and I am involved with the Columbus Blue Jackets at Ohio State Club (CBJ). I work at the Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC) on campus, and in the shop at Knowlton!

What do you enjoy the most about being a Knowlton student?

My favorite part of being a Knowlton student is the collaboration and tight-knit relationships that you make with everybody in your year! I found some of my best friends at Knowlton and it’s a dream having such an authentic community in the building. I don't think many other majors can say that!

What advice do you have for new Knowlton students?

My best advice is to embrace the workload and commit to the process. But also, put your mental health first. You’ll find a balance!

What Ohio State resource did you benefit the most from and would you recommend to other students?

It’s not exactly a listed resource, but I would highly recommend using the Involvement Fair and the Union to find a club that will give you a break from school and allow you to enjoy your time at Ohio State! For me, I discovered the Running Club where I found my best friends and roommates.

What final advice do you have for prospective or newly admitted students?

Take the Explore Columbus course through the Knowlton School! It really helped me to feel like I lived in Columbus and not just at Ohio State.
