Midwest Landscape Lab Receives Grant from Sustainability Institute

Landscape Architecture’s Midwest Landscape Lab (MidLL) received a grant from Ohio State’s Sustainability Institute for $40,500 to start a seed bank, specimen collection, and multi-scalar imaging lab. This initiative will focus on regional critical ecologies compromised by climate change. The collection will be launched in academic year 2022–23 as part of a new advanced seminar. The grant comes from the Ohio State Sustainability Fund and is supported by the President and Provost’s Council on Sustainability.

The Midwest Landscape Lab (MidLL) is a research and teaching initiative focused on the ecological, material and cultural histories that shape the Midwest.
