Tonni Oberly Receives Black Women, Green Future Award

City and Regional Planning PhD candidate Tonni Oberly was recently awarded the Black Women, Green Future Award from New Voices for Reproductive Justice. Tonni received the award alongside four other environmental justice activists, community organizers, and change-makers that are fighting for Environmental, Reproductive, Racial, and Gender Justice in their communities. 

The Black Women, Green Future Awards Ceremony is a yearly celebration of nominated and selected Black women, girls, femmes, and folx working in the Environmental Justice space either professionally or personally. Past honorees have included activists, CEOs, elected officials, and more.
