Amber Woodburn McNair Serves as Rapporteur for “Systemic Inequality in the Airport Industry”

Assistant Professor of City and Regional Planning Amber Woodburn McNair served as the rapporteur for “Systemic Inequality in the Airport Industry: Exploring the Racial Divide,” hosted by the Airport Cooperative Research Program and the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine in Washington, DC.

The in-person event identifies common manifestations of systemic inequality in airport settings and the challenges airports face as they strive to be more diverse, equitable, and inclusive. The summary report will help foster communication and collaboration on the topic and help identify areas of future interest and research.
