Patrick Beam Elevated to ASLA Fellow

Patrick Beam (BSLA ’76) was among those that the American Society of Landscape Architects elevated to their College of Fellows.

Beam is owner of Beam Designs, a landscape architecture and site planning firm based in Dublin, Ohio. The firm’s many projects include commercial, higher education, urban planning, and more. Recent projects include the Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District - Myeerah Nature Preserve and Hawthorne Hills Event Center.

Pat Beam is Ohio’s foremost landscape architecture leader in watershed management and in licensure advocacy and defense. For more than four decades, he has created and preserved environments that enhance the quality of life and inform people about the rich diversity and delicate balance of the natural world. A practice innovator, community activist, and advocate at the national, regional, state, and local levels, Pat leads through private practice, and through public appointments and leadership with the Maumee River Basin Partnership of Local Governments, Scenic Ohio, the Ohio Landscape Architects Board, CLARB Board of Directors, ASLA Ohio, and others.
