Associate Dean in the College of Engineering and Professor of City and Regional Planning Rachel Kleit was named a Woman of Influence at Columbus Business First’s inaugural Women of Influence Awards reception. Kleit was nominated in the Mentor category.

Move to Prosper’s Shiloh Todorov nominated Kleit. Here’s what she said in her submission: “Kleit tells anyone who will listen how much she loves mentoring people, and one of the key ways she does it is to help people do their best work and create situations where they can, and that’s the definition of her role. Her work allows her to influence the college to recruit the right people, make sure professional development is offered that supports faculty growth, and make sure the college has a culture that supports faculty success.”
