Assistant Professor of Architecture Ashley Bigham has been featured in the Architect’s Newspaper for her work curating Constructing Hope: Ukraine, an exhibit opening on May 2, 2024 at the Center for Architecture in New York City. Constructing Hope was co-curated with Betty Roytburd and Sasha Topolnytska and designed by Aliona Solomadina. The exhibition is on view until September 3, 2024.

Constructing Hope explores how Ukrainian architects have responded to Russia’s full-scale invasion. It platforms multidisciplinary creatives that have employed architectural strategies in Ukraine to regain autonomy over their built environments.
