Undergraduate Orientation

New Ohio State undergraduate students (both new first-year students and transfer students) must attend an Ohio State orientation program prior to enrollment.

Orientation programs include a scheduled meeting with Knowlton School Student Services staff. During this academic session, you will learn about major and general education requirements, review your degree audit and transfer credit with an advisor, and register for courses for your first semester.

To schedule an orientation program or to change your date, please contact University Orientation. Regional campus students should contact their regional campus for orientation dates.

New First-Year Students
Please access carmen.osu.edu and complete "Knowlton Undergraduate Orientation 2020." This course will allow you to learn about academic advising and course scheduling procedures for architecture, landscape architecture, and city and regional planning students.

The welcome area of the site includes the "Get To Know You" survey. Complete the survey to move forward to other areas of the site. This survey also informs some of the personalized information we provide to you prior to your orientation date. Please complete the survey at least one week prior to your scheduled orientation program.

Our expectation is that you complete all of the "Knowlton Undergraduate Orientation 2020" modules before your Day 1 orientation program so that you are fully prepared to move into the course scheduling process during your scheduled program.
