Renee Ripley is a PhD candidate in the City and Regional Planning Section of the Knowlton School. Her research interests include planning with youth, education planning, and urban neighborhood design. Her research questions involve whether and how planners include youth in planning processes, and how planners can facilitate greater and more meaningful youth involvement in planning processes.

Prior to beginning in the PhD program in CRP, Renee got her Master of Architecture from the Knowlton School and her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University. Her undergraduate degree is in Communication Disorders from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is a full-time staff member at the Ohio State University working in the Research Development Office of ERIK.
