ARTA Awards Application Requirements and Instructions

2024 ARTA Application Deadline
February 1, 2024
12 p.m.

The Architecture Research Travel Awards (ARTA) program is made possible by generous support from the Columbus Foundation. Knowlton students from all sections, graduate and undergraduate, are encouraged to apply. These awards support research-based independent travel for up to 30 days. The destination and purpose of travel are at the discretion of the student.

In the autumn semester following the completion of travel projects, ARTA winners present their work to the school.

Funding

The ARTA program funds up to 75% of budgeted travel, lodging, and meal expenses only. The applicant is responsible for the remaining 25% as well as 100% of all other expenses.

ARTA does not fund equipment, materials, or other expenses.

For questions about eligible expenses, contact Knowlton Business Manager Jaimie Mollison.
