The Ohio State University Faculty Club is pleased to announce Scenes Seen and Unseen: To Draw Is to Be, a collection of watercolors, drawings, and sketches by architect Kay Bea Jones. The exhibit will be on view from March 20–May 12 at the Ohio State University Faculty Club.

Kay Bea Jones is professor of architecture at The Ohio State University Knowlton School.

This intimate exhibition narrates Jones’ surroundings, some are familiar places or figures, and others are foreign lands from her many trips. The viewer will discover the artist’s world, one image at a time. This feeling of personal narrative is particularly present in her sketchbooks. For Jones “sketching becomes a way of life that turns looking into seeing and eventually into knowing.”

All art events, and the exhibition itself, will be free and open to the public.
