Kay Bea Jones Work Displayed at the Ohio State Faculty Club

Professor of Architecture Kay Bea Jones’ travel sketches and other works will be exhibited as “Scenes Seen and Unseen: To Draw Is to Be.” The exhibition is on view at The Ohio State University Faculty Club from March 20–May 12.

This intimate exhibition narrates Jones’ surroundings, some are familiar places or figures, and others are foreign lands from her many trips. The viewer will discover the artist’s world, one image at a time. This feeling of personal narrative is particularly present in her sketchbooks. For Jones “sketching becomes a way of life that turns looking into seeing and eventually into knowing.”

All art events and exhibitions at the Faculty Club are free and open to the public.

An opening reception will be hosted on March 24, and Jones will give an artist talk on Tuesday, April 18.
